Differences and Similarities Between PS4 Pro and Xbox One S


PS4 AND XBOX ONE S differences and similarities have become very important as we have now encountered Generations of consoles. I am almost tempted to agree with some people based on the the idea of comparing these two consoles, WHY? Here are my own personal reasons, I think the comparison should be between  PS4 and Xbox One S as we wait for the XBOX super Project Scorpio for it's comparison with Ps4 one? Well until then, it is a dual combat between these two KNIGHTS of CONSOLE.
If really what you want is a higher graphics improvement of your console, then these two beasts are what you would love to lay your hands own. With Ps4 pro's obvious improvement over it's predecessor and Xbox one S which adds an Ultra HD Blu-ray player and 4K upscaling to the original Xbox One.

Console Performance

Performance is major criteria for machine comparison, it's good to mention that Xbox ones Internal specs is more or likely the same machine launched in 2013, there are few changes, but it isn't really that obvious, whereas PS4 has some CPU improvements that has created significant difference, with its higher specs . Some differences in specification.

BOOST MODE VS ULTRA HD BLU-RAY

Verily I say to you, these two consoles are very similar, but one major difference that gives the Xbox one the upper hand is the Ultra HD Blu-Ray Boost. Surprisingly, Sony has decided not to bring this technology on board despite owning the UHD Blu-ray standard

DIMENSIONS AND PORTABILITY

The PS4 Pro is a bit wider than the Xbox One S, measuring 295 x 327 x 55mm while the One S is 229 x 292 x 63.5mm. Xbox One is still a more cumbersome than the Ps4

RESOLUTION AND HDR GAMING

High Dynamic Range (HDR) Gaming is being supported by both consoles, now the major difference is on the resolution output and how it is being achieved. Ps4 possess the ability to output games at a resolution higher that  FULL HD, while the Xbox ONE S doesn't really have an enhancement aside from (HDR). Xbox One S uses simplistic upscaling to generate 4K images. PS4 Pro renders at higher resolution and uses more intelligent upscaling. Their graphical features are as a result of their 4k output, but the tiny little difference is how both consoles achieve this.

WHAT GAME COULD BE PLAYED ON THESE CONSOLES

The answer to this question is that you can play all available games Because at this time games from both consoles are in competition with each other and you don't need to get a library of a particular loved game, all you need to do is to do an upgrade.  Here are some games you would enjoy.
