All you need to do is follow carefully this few steps and you will recover and unlock your Yahoo mail in no time

1. Open the mail.yahoo.com and click on  “I can’t access my account”

2. On next window select the option “I have Problem with my password” or “I forgot my password” and click Next.

3. Now you will be asked for your Yahoo ID and to enter the word-verification code generated below. Type it and click Next.

4. This next stage you will have to remember the alternative email you submitted during sign up,(if you have forgotten this one, then it is game over) Yahoo will send your password on that email.
You could also choose the second method “I can’t access any of the above (Secret Question method)” and Click Next.

5. Select the option to reset your password.

Your password will be sent to your email account you entered in the previous page within few seconds. Visit your email account (previously mentioned), follow the instruction in the email and you are done.
